City of Wilmington ADA Procedures & Grievance Form
The City of Wilmington’s ADA Grievance Procedure was established to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The purpose of this procedure is to provide a way for qualified people with disabilities to file a grievance with the City of Wilmington if they feel that they have been discriminated against based on disability in the City’s public services, programs, or activities. This policy does not apply to, or affect, the current ADA policies and procedures of the City’s Department of Human Resources with regards to City employees.
Submitting a Grievance
A grievance must be submitted by a qualified person with disabilities to the City of Wilmington’s ADA Coordinator within 14 days from the date of any perceived discrimination (unless extended by the ADA Coordinator), either through the City’s online portal below, via the mail, email, over the phone, or in-person. Please see the link below for the complete City of Wilmington ADA Grievance Policy and Procedure.
