The City of Wilmington is pleased to once again partner with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) on the City’s annual Summer Food Service Program. The program provides nutritious meals to underserved youth in Wilmington and New Castle County during the summer months.

Provided to all children without charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, the meals are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, at the sites and times listed as part of this news release, in accordance with a State-approved menu.

Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for food program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
