City Pools

City pools are open from June 24 to August 23, 2024, and closed on July 4, 2024 (Independence Day).

The pools are staffed by Red Cross-certified lifeguards and feature changing facilities and showers. There is no cost to use the pools during public swim hours. While the pools are open to everyone, patrons under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please refer to the Aquatics Dress Code for information about the swimwear permitted at the City's aquatic facilities.

Spray Parks

Open Until Monday, September 4 (Labor Day)

The City of Wilmington also operates water spray parks which are open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the following locations:

• Helen Chambers Park, 6th and Madison Streets
• Mack Park, West 6th Street and North Ford Avenue
• Father Tucker Park, 9th and Lincoln Streets
• Kosciusko Park, 601 S. Franklin Street
• Woodlawn Park, 4th and Ferris Streets
• Rodney Square, 10th and King Streets
• Brown-Cihocki, Duncan Street and 8th Avenue

The spray park located at Judy Johnson Park, 3rd and Clayton Streets, is currently undergoing repairs. Its opening will be announced once the repairs are complete.
