How to Make a Referral to the CD-CP
Wilmington CD-CP clinicians can be reached at 576-3183.
If a clinician is not available and an immediate response is not required, leave a voicemail with the general referral information and a clinician will return your call promptly.
CD-CP is a voluntary service so parental permission is required. If you are interested in referring a child for these services, we ask that you attempt to obtain consent from the parent prior to making a referral.
- For emergencies, call 911 and the Wilmington Police Department can contact the on-call clinicians as deemed necessary.
- If you believe that your child is experiencing a mental health emergency and is in danger of harming self or others, you may call the crisis hotline at 1-800-969-4357 (1-800-969-HELP).
- For those youth in need of similar services outside of the City of Wilmington, it is suggested that a call be made to the crisis hotline at 1-800-969-4357 (1-800-969-HELP) and they will direct you how to proceed.
