Traffic Advisory: Ramp Closures at U.S. 202/I-95 Interchange Aug. 11 - 13

The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that the on-going I-95/Route 202 Interchange project will require the closure of the I-95 Northbound Ramp to US Route 202 Northbound, and of US Route 202 northbound and southbound under the I-95 northbound ramp. The closures will begin at 8 PM on Saturday, August 11 and last until 5 AM on Monday, August 13. The closure is necessary for the contractor to erect the steel beams on the new bridge over US Route 202.

Traffic will be detoured as follows:

I-95 Northbound to US Route 202 Northbound: Follow detour I-95 north to Marsh Road. Left on Marsh Road onto I-95 ramp south, south on I-95 to Exit 8B ramp to US Route 202 northbound.

I-95 Southbound to State Route 202/Concord Avenue Southbound: Take Exit 9/Marsh Road and make a left on Marsh Road to Philadelphia Pike/Market Street, right at Philadelphia Pike/Market Street to State Route 202/Concord Avenue.

US Route 202 Southbound to State Route 202/Concord Avenue Wilmington: Exit at the ramp to go north on I-95. Exit at Marsh Road, turn right on Marsh Road to Philadelphia Pike/Market Street and make a right on Philadelphia Pike/Market Street to State Route 202/Concord Avenue.

State Route 202 Northbound/Concord Avenue to US Route 202/West Chester: Take the Exit to I-95 Northbound to Marsh Road and make a left at Marsh Road. Take the ramp to I-95 southbound to Exit 8B/US Route 202/West Chester.

DelDOT will post signs to alert motorists of the closure and the accompanying detour routes.
